For reference, my husband is 511. He has a 37.5 inch waist. I would say that these pants are true to size. We typically order an extra large from this brand because “crutch area “ no crowding. The quality is always superb. This is the 30th order. If you want more of a tailored fit order your size, but if you require more room in the lower region, go up one size. For comfort.
