Sergio Tacchini proudly presents its Fall/Winter 2020 Collection, a dynamic line of apparel and accessories celebrating the brand’s rich history—both on and off the court—through archival styles and contemporary staples.
Fall-appropriate fabrics in French terry, velour, nylon, and poly provide weather protection and vibrant textures across easy and casual fits. Vintage-inspired brand logos range from minimal to bold alongside sporty stripes, contrast piping, and retro color-blocking for a throwback vibe. Tacchini’s signature navy, white, and red palette meets autumn neutrals such as cinnamon tan and botanical green, and is energized by bright neon accents.
Tapping into Tacchini’s tracksuit heritage, the collection introduces new colorways in classics like the Young Line, popularized by the brand’s champion tennis players and adopted by British ‘casual’ culture in the ‘80s. Iconic archivio styles including the Dallas and Damarindo Track Jackets are revamped in luxurious velour. Fresh fits are offered in the Board, Beal, and Berry Tracksuits. And rounding out the season is the Camporese Tracksuit, featuring a ‘90s geometric Tacchini pattern and made of lightweight crinkle nylon as a nod to the infamous “shell suits” embraced by hip hop’s golden age.
Coinciding with the drop is an exclusive lookbook shot by renowned photographer Sue Kwon, who has tirelessly documented street-level New York City subcultures and the hip hop scene for over 40 years. Highlighting key pieces from the line, the lookbook captures NYC’s new generation during these uncertain times while simultaneously conveying the sense of a community connected through music and tennis.
