The Brand is in charge of Style, Design of new collections, Product and Marketing. Distribution is made by Licensees.
HOW A COLLECTION IS CREATED
An initial research on items, colors, materials is done to create the milestones of the collection and the themes composing it. The designers start designing the collection and the graphics. The Style Office gives a precise structure to the collection. Designs are displayed on walls to create looks, themes and deliveries. Color combination and the final color card of the collection are designed and used for each item.
ST Product Dept receives designs from Style Office and creates technical dossiers. Materials and accessories are checked and all info are sent to the vendor. ST Product Dept prepares the graphic placement on each model for the size range of each article. First prototypes arrives and the pattern maker start to check that sizes and proportions are correct.The Pattern Maker does the fitting on each model in order to do the last changes and corrections. Salesmen samples arrives and are ready for the Sales campaign
An official hangtag is designed, together with an official ST hologram, to certificate the originality of each item and give a further quality guarantee to the final consumer. Once the sms collection is available, the Communication Office organizes a shooting and produces images being careful to give the correct look Tacchini is creating and the best images to promote the collection on catalogues, websites and POP materials.
