Sergio Tacchini proudly presents its Spring/Summer 2024 Collection. Building upon the brand's European heritage and rich tennis roots, the range looks to global travel, aspirational lifestyle, and American athleisure to revitalize classic sportswear staples with an elevated sensibility.
Specialty fabrics, tactile textures, and revamped graphics spearhead the collection. The Livata capsule—consisting of tracksuits, polos, and shorts—features Sergio Tacchini's iconic 'ST' monogram logo in a debossed repeat over sporty terrycloth as a nod to 1960s luxury resort wear. SS24 graphics are inspired by vintage Italian travel posters promoting the Mediterranean life of leisure in homage to the brand's origins. Breathable mesh Spazio styles sport an exotic tennis court landscape print, while the season's color palette evokes the vibrant hues of 1970s sportscars.
Additional highlights include the Perforata Track Set in performance diver fabric with perforated branding, the crinkle nylon Spiaggia Track Set featuring abstract watercolor artwork, and the brand's archival Damarindo design in velvety velour with all-over argyle debossing. Rounding out the men's offering are the Ulivo Crochet Shirt & Shorts as well as the Giorgio Lounge Set in a high-end Tencel blend fabric with a luxurious hand-feel.
Expanding on womenswear, SS24 introduces fresh for-her silhouettes ranging from fashion-forward track sets to athleisure essentials in fleece, polos, dresses, skorts, sports tops, and biker shorts. The Zona capsule includes mainstays in terry toweling with a pressed 'ST' monogram repeat, while court-ready Atri looks are crafted from the brand's ultra-plush velour.
Coinciding with the release is a campaign shot in Malibu, California, at a grand Spanish villa overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Photographed by Bryan Rodner and featuring models Kemio Kurosawa and Violetta Komyshan, among others, the lookbook spotlights key SS24 fits against the manor's private tennis courts, picturesque pool, and palm-lined panorama.
Redefining traditional sportswear for a refined range that transitions seamlessly from the court to the streets, Sergio Tacchini's jetset-inspired Spring/Summer 2024 Collection is available now. Buona vacanza!
