Our Fall/Winter 2021 Collection celebrates Sergio Tacchini's evolution from the court to the streets—breaking both tennis and cultural barriers along the way. Inspired by iconic pieces from the brand's archives, the collection emphasizes heritage Tacchini styles reinterpreted for contemporary culture.

Tapping into our tracksuit heritage, the season focuses on specialty fabrics including premium velour and crinkle nylon, harking back to the head-to-toe fits popular among NYC hip hop’s golden age, and woven throughout Tacchini’s legacy. Velour editions of the Damarindo and Scopeto Tracksuit are accompanied by crinkle nylon styles in the color-blocked Verona Tracksuit and the highly anticipated Sienna Tracksuit—a reissue of the renowned design worn by the Notorious B.I.G. during his 1995 appearance on the "Martin" show. Further nods to 80s & 90s Tacchini pieces are seen in classic reissues like the French terry Ascot Tracksuit and cotton-poly Ghibli Tracksuit, while the newly introduced Messina and Prato Tracksuit take cues from the lines and shapes of vintage European sportscar aesthetics.

Additional highlights include the "Arezzo" capsule—consisting of a tracksuit, polo, tee, and shorts—inspired by the famous Tacchini polo worn by tennis champ Pete Sampras during his 1990 U.S. Open victory. The "Wilander" pack reinterprets an archival polo worn by Mats Wilander during his win at the 1985 French Open to incorporate multicolored striping panels across a track jacket & pants, fleece, polo, and tee. And rounding out the season is the "Ottimista" collection, integrating an Italian slogan over an anorak, tracksuit, and fleece as a nod to the brand's roots.

Coinciding with the drop is a lookbook shot in Los Angeles at Brain Dead Studios and Uncle Paulie's Deli, featuring Javier Nunez—who starred in the 1995 cult classic film, KIDS—Dre Tyrel, Steffie Baik, and Peter Sherlock.
